actually, i feel like telling the story of how i do not like 8 o'clock classes. I had them every single day I had classes last fall, as do many others (but I still like to complain about it, even though I am not alone. :)) Here is how it went:
the alarm would go off at 6:30, so that Ryan and I could both shower and eat something and be out the door by 7:30. I would never even hear it, and Ryan would have to coax me awake. I would be very grouchy up until the time I stumbled out to the car. At that point, I would fall semi-asleep until we got to campus. Then I would get out of the car, hear the 8 o'clock chimes, and start running up the sidewalk inorder to catch my firt professor before she started class (and she was evil, always started class a few minutes *early*.) Then I would struggle to remain concious while she recited statistics on dog and cat ownership in this country (it was a class on animals and society). The other days, when I had art in the morning, I would just come in and get meditative over some art, and that made being sleepy okay. But I am not so lucky as to have an art class this semester, so I will be starting the day at 8am with....
"Social and Cultural Aspects of Media and New Communication Technologies". Followed immediately by "Great American Speeches".
But remember - I am excited for school to start. Yes. Excited. Even with that sort of a grim start to the morning. :)
