spent the morning at school, trying to make an appointment with an advisor. it turns out my department only has one, and he's chair of the department, so I have to email him and set something up. Meanwhile, I'm looking at the list of required classes, and it's giving me a headache. (I need a total of 120 credits. I have to take a certain number of COM courses, but no more than 51 credits. I need 2 courses in addition to COM206, but I can't use 216 to fufill that. I need 3 courses at the 300 level in addition to 306, and 3 at the 400 level (but there are 4 classes that won't fufill that requirement.) I need to fufill a couple of other random requirements, and then churn out enough electives to bring the credit total up to 120. 42 of all of those credits must be above the 300 level. I have taken French II, but it didn't transfer, and because I was terribly at French, I will have to persuade them to transfer it. And just to make things harder, all the COM classes are full, and they are most of what I will need to take, so I will have to go back to school and fill out over-ride forms to get in.

Always register for classes at the first possible second, if you can, folks. :)
