lately
i wake up in the morning every morning
feeling like someone stuffed cotton balls in all the places where i breathe
because my body is too stupid to figure out
that all it's doing by being allergic to things
is smothering itself.
it makes my whole body feel just so tired.
so i'm drinking hot apple cider and taking my medecine and a hot shower. i just feel like i ran a marathon all night (minus the sore legs :))

I am going to do the laundry. And I look like someone who is going to do their laundry - I'm wearing a t-shirt with a tank top under it (my only remaining bra is in the wash - i need to go shopping ;), tie dyed socks, and underwear with bumblebees on them. :)
off i go!

You Are A Romantic Kisser!
You'll only kiss if the mood is right and if you think you are falling in love. Some may say you're old fashioned, but when you kiss, you see stars! One kiss from you, and anyone will be hooked forever.

And pass this on too! (I wrote a speech about this, by the way! :))
Everybody go to the cigna foundation website and click on the pink ribbon, and they will donate one dollar to breast cancer research! This is only good for the month of October because it's breast cancer awareness month, so pass it on. :)

"you can't dance and stay uptight
it's a supernatural delight
everybody was dancing in the moonlight
dancing in the moonlight
everybody's feeling warm and bright"
toploader, "dancing in the moonlight" :)
i had my first fluffernutter today. or, half of one, anyway. while it wasn't bad, i don't really understand the draw. but it's got a fun name and it's sort of fun to say you're eating a fluffernutter for lunch, so it's okay. as long as it is accompanied by some real food. :)
look outside the sun it's
bursting through
bursting through
oh it's filling up this room
now my fingers are cold
i have touched you you're all i need to know
don't fade from me now
i know you're listening
somehow
this is from "bursting through" by bic runga. when donika was with us she and i played this song a lot. i just remembered it recently. :)

right now i am working with the least intelligent and useable reference database EVER. and it's all i've looked at all day! :P
ryan's dad gave us an old printer a whlie ago, and it's been kicking around our apartment for a long time...well, my homework is getting ridiculous and it's impossible to try to get things done and printed at school in time lately, so we got a cartridge and stuff for the printer today and now we are hooking it up! so i can print my papers now - whoop whoop!
i do hope it works though. we spent $50 getting the stupid thing ready to go....

today i went to a party (well, more of a gathering) at which, for a large portion of the afternoon, i was the only american girl there. and i realized while i was there that that has never really happened to me before. so it was pretty cool. :)

and today's spectacular Onion find:

i think this can be used as a pretty good argument in the issue, actually. but it's also quite funny. :)

Bush Seeks Support For 'U.S. Does Whatever it Wants" Plan
"According to top Bush Administration officials, if the measure is passed by the U.N.—and possibly if it is not—the U.S. would immediately launch invasions of Iraq, North Korea, and Cuba; establish oil-drilling operations in Siberia; install nuclear-missile silos in Mongolia along the Chinese border; make English the official language of the planet; detain thousands of Middle Eastern nationals currently in the U.S. on temporary visas; begin each day with a moment of worldwide prayer; and prohibit Japan and Germany from manufacturing automobiles."
I love the Onion. Thanks KJ, for pointing that out. :)
oh helena, thank you!
i think i have a crush on you too. ;)
and everyone else, thank you for your happy birthdays too! *hugs* for all of you!
